-To have ‘interesting discussions’, or to accept the truth??"

the Scripture can’t be broken, but some time there are possibility to misunderstand the Scripture, Christian faith is faith seeking understanding so if we discuss with the elders in order to understand more and grow in faith its beneficial

What are some of the areas where man’s beliefs and opinions are in conflict with what the Bible teaches? Many people believe that:

Mankind is a product of the process of evolution—an evolutionary accident.
But the Bible states: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made” (John 1:1-3).

The Bible says God is Creator, and He gives us evidence to prove it for ourselves. (See the articles in the “Proof of God” section.)

If you are really seeking the answer and need to solve your problems, you prayed and read bible, I think God even would guide someone to give you some deeper opinion that good for you and your situation. If the discussions are faithful and meaningful, that is good. It is really nothing good for involve the meaningless talk. You’s spend time to do something right and please God.

yes, after you ask their experience, you can have strong faith too. i think if that person want to share with you, you can ask and share.
