I found that there are many Christians around us don’t do anything for God, just live for themselves, why are they indifferent to the Kingdom of God? How do you think the Kingdom of God?

Many Church didn’t give the right and enough teaching about God’s kingdom. The believers just are waiting for the heaven after their death. But in the Lord’s prayer, Jesus taught the disciples that the kingdom will come true on the earth,. So we should co-work with God to restore the world with God’s love and truth in every area.

we all have to do our part in building the holy kingdom. There are many areas where this can be done. You can make a difference in someone else’s life.

We are called to be disciples of Jesus which means that we need to bring others to Him. A wise pastor once said, “When you get to heaven, who can you say you helped get there?”

Amen. I think we should build the kingdom in our hearts first. we need to become kingdom minded to do this. This happens by renewing our minds on everything.

What I don’t understand is why, after bringing my best friend to Christ in the Bible, she has now discarded me.

Doesn’t feel like the Kingdom of God to me, that is for certain.

They are free.
In fact, not all the church will teach about the Kingdom of God. Some just focus on salvation.

You have NO right to judge them. What if their church has never taught them?

As mentioned, some Christians, okay, many Christians are not taught about the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth. They are unknowingly missing out.

This is an excellent topic. I needed to see it today. I’ve lost my best friend of 17 years. It happens to the best and worst of us. What I don’t understand is that I was the one who introduced her to reading the Bible daily, and now she has discarded me. When we do talk, or post, she demands that I back up everything I say with scripture or she ignores it. She has a double standard though, as she talks and posts worldly things a lot herself. I have asked her directly why she is pushing me away and treating me this way. Her answer is “Oh, I didn’t mean it like that” and “no, I don’t feel that way”. That’s it.

Today she changed her name all over Facebook. I’m heart broken. I’m going to have to tell every friend I’ve been in touch with for the past 17 years (during my friendship with this one who is pulling away from me after I brought her to Christ in Scripture) that my friend, Wolfie, cannot be found anymore on Facebook. There is only a person named “Susan” (last name left off for protection of the innocent) now.

I have invested more energy into this friendship than any other in my lifetime. Yet, without explanation, discussion or consideration of any kind, that friend named Wolfie has disappeared. Yes, that was a nickname. Now it’s her legal name she is using. I don’t have a problem with that, except that she changed it even on Messenger where one can denote nick names. With me. Like “go away, Wolfie is gone” to me.

This is not behavior that’s coming from any church building or leader. She also refuses to listen to any pastor or teacher. Even a regular Christian, should they SPEAK about God without only quoting scripture, she refuses to listen to. The only explanation she gives me is this: “I’m afraid I will become confused.”

Confused about what?

I’m sure no one here can really answer all these personal questions. (But if you’ve had a similar experience, I’d appreciate insights!) However, what I do ask, is that you pray for me. I do not want to sin in this very deep betrayal and hurt. For now I am trying to maintain as much distance as possible so I do not lash out sarcastically at her. It would do no good for me to do so. Thank you for anyone who prays for me over this very important to me problem, and not at all significant thing to the world.
